Job Description

Al-Ahleia Switchgear seeks a project design engineer for electrical substations, estimates and equipment drawings. The advertisement specifies electrical design tools and an HR email address.

Responsibilities

• Detailed engineering of electrical substations including design/ layout of substation building and equipment, floor opening, earthing, cable trays, lighting & small power systems etc. Vendor drawing reviews of 400KV GIS, 132KV GIS, 300MVA, 400/132/33 KV power transformer, 45MVAR shunt reactor, fire fighting system, cablese etc. Calculation for cables, earthing, lighting, battery and charger sizing, DC UPS, heat load calculation etc

Requirements and Qualifications

• Electrical substation design and package substation design; experience as listed by employer.
• 400KV, 300KV Substation Design & Package Type Substation Design.
• Tender estimations, BOQ preparations such as power & control cable BOQ, earthing BOQ.
• Knowledge in using ETAP, ACAD, Dilux software.
